[rant] social media
i hate social media... why? because i feel like most of the people in my circle and part of my family are just completely absorbed by it.
well... actually... i don't hate social media. i hate CURRENT social media. back in the day, social media was useful, especially for me: since i have a lot of family in Ireland and i barely see them, i could keep up with them using social media platforms, like facebook for example. but social media now... just acts as a dopamine machine... which i have unfortunately, also become a victim of.
i really hate how there's some mornings where i stay in bed for too long because i'm scrolling through reels or tiktoks, or how i try to talk to someone and they're doing the same thing without listening to me. these things really piss me off, and i REALLY hate the state of social media right now
