i switched distros... again.
yeah, you read the title right... i switched distros again.
introduction
so, the main question here is... why did i switch?
catchyos was great and all, but honestly, it's been giving me too many problems.
the first days of using cachyos were great, i didnt have any issues at all, everything was working perfectly with the exception of some input issues now and then, but apart from that, there was no problem
that was until i actually started to get a lot of issues, constant crashes, screen orientation issues, constant input issues... and i simply got sick of it.
so what now?
remember how i said i got sick of ubuntu? well, the change from ubuntu to cachyos is pretty big, but (in my opinion) i kinda went back a couple of steps and decided to go with linux mint. and let me tell you, it's great.
i'm really enjoying the mint experience, it has everything i liked about ubuntu removing all the things i disliked about ubuntu.
conclusion
i'm probably going to be staying with mint for a good while, if not permanently, it runs super smooth on my minibook x and i can do every task without worring about crashes, input errors or other stuff that i had with catchyos.
let's hope this time it's a real permanent decision lol.
